according to the "revelation - it's grand climax" book on page 116 par.9.

it says that when jesus annointed ones have been tried and sifted, then they will recieve a "permanent mark' on their forehead that they have been tried and found worthy.

they can't then lose their salvation.

Don't you guys find it funny that some of the absolute core beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses, are the easiest to pick apart and scrutinize. I mean you go 607, 144,00, F&D slave, elders appointed by holy spirit, I can go on and on, but you get the point.

hot news from todays morning worship announcement worldwide -- letter from gb being read on 1st of march 2006 to every branch (hopefully we will have a copy of the letter soon.).

as of aug. 31, 2006 the bethel elder arrangement will be dissolved!

rebel 8 your a sweety. As far as the property 25 columbia hts being worth only 3 mil its got to be worth at least triple that. The brown stones down the street in the brklyn hts go for a mil easily (those use to be the houses they showed for the cosby show.)

Candidlynuts, I have a question for you. You say you watched it with and epicopalian (I probably spelled it wrong too.) Do you find it more insightfull to watch shows that talk about the bible from a scholarly point of view, with someone of a different religion, without the prejuduces of a witness?

This question is for others that may want to answer too.

The need for educated proffesonals - more WT hypocrisy?

one thing that always annoyed me when i was in the org was the policy on education.

i personaly am not college educated, i was`nt raised as a jw.

however, i have always appreciated the services provided by those who have had a college/university education.

Here is the real kicker about the WTS and schooling. While they wil have a WT like the april mag and diss higher education, what do they really want at Bethel...people with high education and marketable skills. With all the ones they are sending home how many do you think are doctors, lawyers, or engineer's? This is one of the many two faced arguments that the WTS puts out there. By the way thats how I got in.

Not many from 33-1919

read a post yesterday where someone had the number of partakers in 1935 the cut off year,the number of partakers(annointed) was 52465 this dosnt leave many places for the people before the org was chosen in 1919.so the total number of places in heaven before 1935 was 91535.it seems that there cant of been many true followers in the 1902 years prior to their being chosen,in fact it works out there were only 48 annointed spaces per year.but suddenly from 1919 to 1935 a period of only 16 years we have an increase of holy ones to 3279 per year .this is so obviously rubbish,and how the hell did they no there were 91535 annointed before them,hope that all makes sense.
